The quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League are all set to kick off this upcoming week as the final eight of each competition prepare to battle for their journey in Europe to continue.
UEFA's big three men's competitions will be returning this week, after the prior round saw a dramatic round of 16 filled with twists and turns throughout the two legs.
A newly revamped format for each competition saw a different outcome for many different clubs and even added an extra layer of excitement and tension (if that was even possible!), leaving spectators expecting the drama to continue until the final winner is decided.
Stand-out names such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Juventus and AC Milan are all no longer in this season's Champions League. Whereas in the Europa League Roma and Ajax are among the clubs to have already been eliminated.
As we go into these matches, we've named who we believe are the top three contenders in each competition:
- Champions League: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal.
- Europa League: Athletic Club, Frankfurt, Lazio.
- Conference League: Chelsea, Fiorentina, Real Betis.
As we edge closer to seeing who the three clubs to end their seasons with European honours will be, we head into the quarter-finals with massive fixtures set to play out during two legs.
