Sunderland forward Brian Brobbey probably had the best day of his career on Sunday against Manchester City, as the Dutchman scored a sensational hat-trick at the Etihad.
Although it wasn't enough to bring the Black Cats a single point as City beat them 5-3 on the day, Brobbey's fine individual display has been written in the history books now.
The 24-year-old joins an elite list of players who have bagged three goals in a game against the side. In fact, only seven players had achieved the feat before him. Here's a complete list of them.

7) Andrei Kanchelskis (Manchester United, 1994)
During his well-trodden club career across different leagues, Andrei Kanchelskis found stability at Manchester United during the early 90s. He had several big moments across his four-year spell with the club, most notably a hat-trick in their 5-0 drubbing of City in October 1994.
6) Tony Cottee (West Ham, 1994)
West Ham's first-ever Premier League hat-trick was scored by Tony Cottee, and it came against Manchester City, no less. Just a few weeks after the Kanchelskis treble, the Sky Blues conceded another one at the Bolyn Ground.
5) Michael Owen (Liverpool, 2002)
The first player to score a hat-trick away to Manchester City, Michael Owen was in ruthless form on 28 September 2002 when he took the side to the cleaners with one of his finest individual performances for Liverpool, who prevailed 3-0 on the day.
4) Afonso Alves (Middlesbrough, 2008)
Middlesbrough's 8-1 thrashing of Manchester City back in 2008 was symbolic of just how poor they used to be before the Abu Dhabi United Group takeover. Among the chief tormentors on the day was Afonso Alves, who became the first Brazilian to bag a treble in the Premier League.
3) Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa, 2008)
City's transition from a regular English side to a European giant after the ADUG takeover wasn't swift. In fact, it got off to a forgettable start as they were beaten 4-2 by Aston Villa on the opening day of the 2008-09 season, with Gabriel Agbonlahor netting a second-half hat-trick.
2) Sadio Mane (Southampton, 2016)
Manuel Pellegrini's tenure at Manchester City ended on a sour note, with the side failing to win any of their last three Premier League games. His final defeat as the City manager came away to Southampton at St. James' Park, where an inspired Sadio Mane bagged a hat-trick in a memorable 4-2 win for the hosts.
1) Jamie Vardy (Leicester City, 2026 and 2020)
Few players have given City as much of a nightmare as Jamie Vardy has. He's the only player in history to bag multiple hat-tricks against the side, and interestingly, both came during Pep Guardiola's tenure.
His first came as a reigning Premier League champion, and even though the Foxes were languishing in the bottom half of the table, they had no issues dispatching City in a 4-2 victory, powered by Vardy's scintillating treble.
Four years later, he struck another hat-trick, this time at the Etihad, as the Foxes once again prevailed 4-2 over City, who eventually, though, lifted the league title that season.
