Following their breakup with Karim Benzema and their bad experience with Eden Hazard, Real Madrid is getting ready for a big move in the transfer market to bolster their offensive line.
Under Florentino Perez‘s leadership, the Spanish club became well-known for putting together the greatest players in a single squad, a feat that was accomplished with Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, David Beckham, Luis Figo, and other luminaries.
According to the Spanish daily “AS,” Perez intends to assemble a new “Galacticos” by bringing in both Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to strengthen the offensive line of the royal club, which is currently lacking goals.
Real Madrid has £111 million in the bank and £231 million in credit, which suggests that the team has already freed up some cash to spend in the transfer market.
Reaching £342 million in total opens up the option of signing both Mbappe and Haaland. The club has also been able to save £68 million on wages following the exits of Hazard and Benzema.
Mbappe‘s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next summer, which gives him the freedom to sign a free transfer to Real Madrid. Haaland‘s contract with Manchester City has a release clause that allows him to sign a deal for £172 million in 2024 and £150 million in 2025 to join any team outside of England.
