Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, the star from Norway, has shown his appreciation for Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese icon.
In January 2023, Ronaldo—who has played for some of the top teams in the world—joined Saudi club Al-Nassr‘s first team during the winter transfer window.
Haaland disclosed in remarks to “TV2” that he still watches Ronaldo‘s best moments, particularly during his early Manchester United and Real Madrid years.
The Norwegian player called the Portuguese legend’s path “insane,” particularly when he switched from being a winger to a center-forward.
He stated, “What Cristiano Ronaldo did… to be a winger in his early years in the world of football, then a striker afterward; it’s insane and unbelievable!”
Erling Haaland confirmed that he gets motivation from the Al-Nassr striker to accomplish both team and individual goals.
