Manchester City return to Premier League action this Saturday against Wolverhampton Wanderers and will attempt to get back to winning ways after their 1-0 elimination to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup third round.

Man City have so far won all of their PL games, just last week claiming a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. And despite the early exit from the EFL, we know the Premier League holds a great deal of importance for Pep and his team, so staying in their winning ways in the league will be a big focus of theirs.

City currently sit at the top of the table with 18 pts, and Wolves on 16th with only four pts, and close to the bottom three.

Pep Press-Conference

Pep Guardiola has spoken ahead of tomorrow’s game and confirmed the status of some players.

John Stones is not ready, Kevin De Bruyne is not ready, Bernardo is not fine. The rest are fine, I think.”

Despite the players staying unavailable for Wolves, Pep has given a rather positive on one player; saying, ” Stones is better, he feels good. He is training alone, but maybe next week or after Leipzig, he will start. ”

Pep also discussed Rodri, who also will not be able to partake tomorrow after picking up a red card last week against Nottingham Forest, ” It’s a pity if you’re unavailable. I have to find a solution. Of course, it’s not easy to replace him. ”

Man City predicted line-up

4-3-2-1

1. Ederson

2. Walker, 3. Dias, 25, Akanji, 24. Gvardiol

11.Doku, 27.Nunes

47.Foden , 19. Alvarez, 10. Grealish

9. Haaland

City had a bit of a shakeup during midweek, as names such as Ruben Dias, Erling Haaland, and Kyle Walker were left on the bench. These decisions were due to the obvious reason that Pep believed his players needed rest after the amount of games being played, and didn’t want to risk any more injuries.

But, Jack Grealish and Mateo Kovacic have both officially made her returns to the starting line-up after being out for the last few weeks due to injury.

Prediction

Wolves 0-4 Man City

Looking at the amount points accumulated by Wolves, and their placing on the board, the probability of them getting any points again at Manchester City, would be considered very, very, low. Therefore, Man City should continue their PL winning streak, and then focus on Leipzig, who they will play this coming week.

Wolves vs Man City will take place on Saturday, 30th, September.

The game will get underway at 15:00 ( UK ).
