Phil Foden Scores Opener for England Against Scotland

Phil Foden, and Harry Kane, alongside Jude, scored in a 3-1 victory over Scotland in an international friendly. With this win, England maintained its unbeaten record against Scotland for 24 years.

However, in the 81st minute of the match, England left the field with a comfortable victory thanks to a goal by Kane. Scotland’s five-match winning streak against England came to an end, marking England’s 600th victory in all competitions. England became the first European team to achieve this milestone.

On the other hand, Germany defeated France 2-1 in another friendly match. Interim coach Rudy Fowler and the German footballers are greatly relieved. Prior to this victory, there was turmoil in German football as the four-time world champions suffered three consecutive losses, including one against Japan. Flick was suspended by the German Football Federation within hours of the 4–1 defeat to Japan.
