Manchester City’s Jess Park has returned from her one-year loan at Everton and recently expressed her aims for this upcoming season and her take on what City want to achieve.

English forward Jess Park has made more than 50 appearances for City and has scored eight goals for them. In the summer of 2022, Park was sent to Everton on a year loan, which has now come to an end, and has returned back to her former side. Before heading over to Everton, Jess signed an extended deal with Man City, which kept her at the club for a further three seasons.

The 21-year-old also made her England debut last year when she was subbed on during a friendly against Japan, and in just less than two minutes, Park had scored her first England goal.

During her 12 months at Everton, Park was present for 17 games and scored three goals during. Now she has made her comeback to City; she will be determined to become more of an impactful and regular occurring player in the squad.

In a recent interview, Jess Park has spoken on all things regarding her own and the club’s upcoming season.

” I just feel more confident. I have more experience and quality now. I played in big games last season and played against every team in the league, so that was very important.”

Park also said she now knows she doesn’t have to be nervous, and she believes ” I’ve already been in those situations, and I can just bring the qualities that I do bring.”

Next, she moved on to her personal ambitions for the 23/24 season, in which she explained, ” I want to get more game time on the pitch and to influence the game if that’s from the bench or start.”

” As for City, we’ll aim to be winners of the League and win the trophies we want to win. We always want to win; that’s the thing about City, we always want to win!”

Safe to say that the last statement perfectly reflects the successful team Man City have become, for both the men’s and women’s sides.

As for the women’s side and how they fair out in this year’s English Super League, there isn’t long until they get started, as it is set to take off on the 1st, October.
