Bayern Munich vs. Manchester City: Champions League predicted line-up
By Laura Graves
Rodri
Vital for the Professor to start in such a game. Pep rested him with an early substitution at the weekend and Phillips is yet to impress. Whilst fans are divided, many recognise the potential in the England international and have faith that his first season syndrome that has been plagued by injury will be solved with his second season bounce.
Gundogan (C)
The skipper was rested at the weekend, no doubt with this game in mind. His experience and leadership, along with his ability to control the tempo of the game will be crucial for tonight.
De Bruyne
The Belgian was also subbed early at the weekend, presumably for a bit of a rest ahead of the Bayern clash. City will need him at his best.
