Bayern Munich vs. Manchester City: Champions League predicted line-up
By Laura Graves
Ederson
The Brazilian has made some crucial saves during the business end of the season after receiving criticism from football twitter self-proclaimed “experts” – FIFA 23 does not count as a coaching or tactical analyst qualification, sorry.
Stones
Adapting to his new hybrid role well, he has been crucial in the recent upturn of form for the blues in recent weeks, and was able to gain some well earned rest at the weekend after substitution.
Akanji
Arguably his best game in blue in the first leg against Bayern; he impressed fans with his no-nonsense defending of a difficult to contain forward line.
Dias
No doubt that the Portuguese will be selected for such a big occasion – unless Pep has some sort of…. well, let’s not go there this season please.
Ake
Another defender to return for the second leg, not only has Ake been one of the most consistent players for City this season, the excellent defensive display in the first leg makes it difficult to see any changes being made at the back.
