Ortega
The number 2 keeper saw himself injured in the last game, though this is not set to keep him out. So will we see him come in for Ederson who has put in some good performances in recent games.
Lewis
Another excellent opportunity in a big game for the capable and impressive Rico Lewis, who rumour has it, is set to sign a new contract before next season. Wise move by City bosses.
Akanji
Putting in some top performances, and giving others a break for their hard work over recent weeks.
Laporte
Surely, he’s got to get a game. Always present on social media and supporting the boys from the bench. Besides, he’s brilliant.
Ake
What can we say about this guy? My player of the season so far. Quietly doing his job and putting in some incredible performances – but how does one compete with the record breaking season from the Nordic Meat Shield – we blues have a soft spot for grafters though.
