Manchester City head to London on Sunday to face prime, top of their game, Tottenham – well, that usually describes them when the two meet.

Whilst the blues had a quiet transfer window, Spurs did have some incomings. The reverse fixture saw City beat the London side 4-2, with the City scorers including two goals from Mahrez, and a goal each for Haaland and Alvarez.

As always, Pep’s side dominated the game and this time, managed to contain the likes of City party poopers, Harry Kane and Son – no not Kane’s son, Son.

A worrying stat tells us that City are yet to win a game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, since it opened 4 years ago. There’s a first time for everything, right?

With Arsenal dropping points against Sean Dyches’ new look Everton on Saturday, can the blues capitalise and take all three points to move them within two of the league leaders – is the title race on? I guess we will find out tomorrow.

Rumour has it that Conte will not be on the touchline after undergoing surgery. Whilst news for the blues includes Foden returning to the matchday squad.
