The (underwhelming) shock

James – Mbappe – Much is expected of him given his influence on the team in Russia but predict France will struggle. Also, going with Croatia not going past the group stages. The old guard will struggle in the heat and last year’s finalists will lose to Canada and Belgium.

Laura – Gareth Southgates line-ups. England will scrape some results with horrific performances and then Southgate will be lorded like the DB’s he’s absolutely not.

Adam –  Portugal – I do wonder how the Ronaldo interview will affect this squad. On paper they’re extremely strong but I won’t be surprised to see it fall apart quickly for the Portuguese.

Next. Will Pep stay or go past 2023?. dark

We will certainly look back of those comments post the World Cup final and see whether any were correct.
