Overachievers

James – Canada – There’s many that could overachieve – USA, Denmark, Ecuador and Uruguay – but they are anticipated to advance from their groups. Jonathan David and Alphonso Davies are the stars and they could surpass the favourites of the group, Belgium and Croatia.

Laura – Qatar. Firstly, heard some rumours about iffy stuff going on with referees, nothing we haven’t seen in the Premier League and Champions League, though. But they will also be used to the climate over there, this might give them an advantage.

Adam –  Denmark – They impressed in the Euros with their fight and brand of football. Wouldn’t shock me to see them in the Quarter Finals, a very good side.
