Jordan Pickford
The goalkeeper has been the least in-form goalkeeper in the squad conceding goals in a leaky Everton side, however, appears to be Southgate’s favourite due to his ball-playing skills. Would like to see Ramsdale given an early opportunity following his form with Arsenal.

Kieran Trippier
The full-back gets a start ahead of Kyle Walker following the City’s full-back’s injury troubles. Should he be fit then I would have predicted our favourite right back. Can’t see Trent Alexander-Arnold being involved throughout the tournament.

John Stones
Our first of the City players featuring and the strongest defender in the team. Nailed on for a starting place for me.

Harry Maguire
Would personally have Eric Dier, alongside Stones, but we all know Maguire is a manager’s favourite and his selection not going to reflect his form. Hoping for an inspired form, similar to Euro 2020, should he get the nod though.

Luke Shaw
The left-back is the only option should Trippier start at right-back.
