England will play Iran in their quest for World Cup glory in 2022 as Qatar is the place where these players could become heroes.

Optimistic I know, but we English, always believe it is coming home until it is virtually impossible.

Gareth Southgate has come in for criticism from English supporters for his negative approach to tactics in recent games; this is despite being our most successful English manager in the modern era.

It will be interesting to see whether to see England line up with five at the back, or be more proactive with a 4-2-3-1. I’m going with the latter for this game and that’ll reflect in the attacking formation in the line-up.

Selection dramas are up for debate with a centre back spot available for two main contenders, who’s ready to play right-back, Bellingham or Phillips and the two players on the flanks? Lots will be decided and hopefully we get it right.
