The player of the early part of the season has to be Erling Haaland.

We have had  seen some great performances from Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Manuel Akanji (who’s been a great signing and slotted straight in), Rodri who’s been fantastic all season also.

But it has to be Haaland with his goal tally of 23 goals in 18 games being nothing short of magnificent. Erling has been everything we all thought he’d be and heard he was, and more. It’s a frightening thought for the rest of the league he now has over a month off over the World Cup to rest up, and recuperate and come back recharged.

Also a special mention to Rico Lewis who has shown plenty in his two starts recently, and his goal against Sevilla was a stand out moment on it’s own. He looks a really special talent going forward and seems the sky is the limit for him.
