Ederson

Expecting the Brazilian to return to the starting line-up, who has been in good form this season after making some crucial saves and grabbing his first assist already.

Stones

Pep has told us that Walker still isn’t ready to return to action, and Stones is the better option. Although should we go ahead comfortably, we may see another appearance from Champions League star, 17-year-old, Rico Lewis.

Akanji

Mitrovic is a biggggg guy, and we will need big strong CB’s to keep him on a leash. Pep and Akanji have both confirmed that he is ready to return after missing out due to a “dead leg”.

Ake

Strong, composed and reliable – quicker than he looks too. Assuming that either or both Stones and Cancelo will play inverted roles to bring creativity from the back, Ake could be the guy to hold it together at the back.

Cancelo

Rested midweek for the Champions League fixture, making a short cameo towards the end. We can pretty much guarantee the number 7’s return to the starting line-up for the boys in blue.
