As Manchester City head to Anfield to face Liverpool, we take a look at our top 5 goals against them over the last 5 years.
The fixture has seen plenty of drama in recent years in all competitions. Most recently when Liverpool pipped City to the most prestigious trophy in the world of sport, the Community Shield.
We’ve seen terrible refereeing and VAR decisions, Salah auditioning for Egypt’s Olympic diving team, Foden masterclasses, Pep masterminding, Klopp crying, and scousers dreams dying.
What tomorrow will bring, who knows? Liverpool’s confidence will have been raised slightly after outclassing Rangers in the Champions League and they will have a point to prove.
However, the boys in blue will also have a point to prove. Not because of their draw midweek to Copenhagen in a dramatic game with 10 men. But due to Klopp’s recent comments regarding City’s financial status which completely aims to diminish everything that these boys and their coaching staff have achieved over the last 5 years.
