Manchester City were anticipated to come to the Danish capital and roll over their opponents to take home the three points. Things are never that simple in football.

The performance of the VAR and the referee took away the opportunity of the good game, however Riyad Mahrez will rue the opportunity to win the game.

The 0-0 draw against FC Copenhagen makes it the first time they have not scored in a game this campaign, but still sit pretty on top of Group G after Dortmund also drew against Sevilla. Not the best of the games but with the fixture against Liverpool on the weekend, you could understand Pep not taking drastic measures to get the victory

They have now advanced as expected and will go to Dortmund next hoping that a win will guarantee them top spot, but first, it is player rating time.

In the same city, the Danish royal family have ranked their family members to exclude them from royal duties come next year, we at Man City Square offer a more inclusive and fair approach to our players ratings system.

See the next slide on whether you agree with our ratings and who was your man of the match this evening. Comment below.
