Manchester City head North to St James’ Park this weekend as they face Newcastle. Newcastle vs. Manchester City is the third fixture of the season, as the blues look to make it a hat-trick of wins.

City had convincing wins at home against Bournemouth, and away to West Ham, scoring 6 goals in the two games so far, and similar starting line-ups picked by Pep.

Last weekend was a particularly good weekend for City, as their top six rivals dropped points. City and City (Arsenal) remain the only two teams so far to claim all three points from both games.

The blues baldy spoke with the press on Friday ahead of Sunday’s game and confirmed that both Cole Palmer and Kalvin Phillips are back in training after some “niggles”.
