Surprise of the season?

James – Newcastle for me have brought excellently to shore up their defence and have gone from Pritt Stick to Hard as Nails in the signing of Nick Pope. Rumours regarding a few Premier League recognised attackers will make them a lot stronger and will carry on the momentum gained through the latter half of the season. Aston Villa will have a good season as they have built a good squad, while West Ham and Crystal Palace will surprise a few also. As previously mentioned, Southampton and Leicester City will have difficult seasons, I’ll also throw Everton into that mix too.

Laura – Leicester relegation battle – I smell trouble for Leicester City but have enough to fight off relegation.

Brian – Despite finishing 8th last year, Leicester City I feel will struggle massively. They have a brilliant manager in Brendan Rodgers but with other teams like Newcastle and Chelsea circling around their better players and the loss of Kasper Schmeichel and ageing legs of Jamie Vardy, adding no additional players will hurt them and other teams vying for that top 10 will surpass them easily
