Golden boot?

James – I am tempted to say Erling Haaland for obvious reasons but I think rotation and a focus on the Champions League knockout stages will leave him out of the games where he can pick up a hat-trick easily. It will be close though but Tottenham’s reliance on Harry Kane will pay off with the English striker coming off a victorious World Cup (let’s hope) to enjoy the final six months. Mohammed Salah, Gabriel Jesus and Haaland will run them close and will be in contention.

Laura – A very exciting season with the quality of strikers and we will still probably see the best goal of the season scored by Danny Welbeck for Brighton. Harry Kane a veteran in the Premier League after a quiet (by his standards) 21/22 season. He will want to show the new talent how it’s done. Obviously want and hope that it is our very own Nordic Meat Shield.

Brian – With the arrivals of Nunez and Haaland, I think the race for the golden boot is now wide open. City haven’t had a focal point down the middle for some years now and I am sure Haaland will score a large number of goals, but it is hard to ignore the consistency of Kane and Salah and now that Spurs have a stronger squad and are genuine contenders for top 4, I think Kane will outscore everyone.
