Luckily, Pep seems determined to give Jack Grealish the chance to prove himself. Gucci has shown heaps of potential but remains frustrating at times.

Last season he made 26 Premier League appearances with just six goal contributions (3 goals and 3 assists).

Grealish seemed to struggle with creating big chances, but this could be down to the absence of a striker. Getting it into the box to a “5ft something Foden”, or a “panic in front of goal Sterling” is not quite the same.

Bizarrely, he has one of the highest tackle success rates with 94% – higher than all of our defenders. And we all love a trier that works hard – as does Pep, which is why I expect to see him on Sunday.
