I’m not going to lie, I do not know much about the Croatian international with the left-back coming to the attention of a number of clubs recently following an impressive campaign in the Bundesliga.

City has been linked with the 24-year-old with a £20 million move being readied should their Cucurella quest fall by the wayside, however they may face competition with Bayern Munich and Chelsea also interested.

Premier League clubs Wolves, West Ham and Leeds United are also vying for his services and those clubs are likely to represent a greater opportunity for consistent first-team opportunities, more than City and Bayern Munich – Sosa is unlikely going to shift Joao Cancelo and Alphonso Davies, respectively.

Sosa’s Bundesliga stats show he is more of a creator with 17 assists and one goal in the past two seasons. Similarly to Oleksandr Zinchenko, but more of a natural left-back, the Croatian could prove a great assist to the squad and is unlikely to upset the apple cart should he be left on the sidelines.

A definite cheaper option and has the potential to improve under better management and players around him. The most likely of the options than the other two given his valuation and readiness to step up to a higher level.
