5. Manchester City doing the double over Stretford rivals, Manchester United. Despite United’s particularly poor season, by any top six standards; the Manchester derbies last season illustrated in no uncertain terms, the gulf of difference in squad and coach quality.

What looked like training sessions to the eye, blues enjoyed every moment. Whilst Kevin De Bruyne put those ridiculous comparisons to Bruno Fernandes in the Biffa bin. “Can City be top dogs? Not in my lifetime”, words mumbled by Sir Scottish once upon a time, funny guy.

Manchester City fans manage to blow away support out of the park each and every time. Though, I want to shout out to the home support during the dismantling of United at the Etihad. The crowd was bouncing during this top moment, even the quiet family next to me were doing the Poznan.

4. The best team goal of the season; finished off clinically by our little warrior, Bernardooooo SILVA. The goal started, created, and finished in typical City fashion.

The ball is crossed into the City box by Aston Villa and cleared by Joao Cancelo, to Riyad Mahrez who clears it from the penalty area and slips it into Fernandinho, who threads it through the midfield to Jesus as he carries it down the right wing. Jesus pings it around Mings and Bernardo hits it on the volley, straight past Martinez. Pure beauty.
