Gabriel Jesus head lists for several clubs

Gabriel Jesus is on his way out of Manchester City after the signing of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez which has led the Brazilian to fall further down the pecking order. The in-form forward is on the list of several top clubs from around Europe after having a tremendous season with Man City, scoring twelve goals and recording eleven assists in all competitions.

While it seemed that Arsenal are the front-runners in the race to sign him, two new clubs have emerged in the battle starring the likes of Chelsea and Laliga champions, Real Madrid – as per reports from Spanish media.

Manchester City has named the price for the Brazilian after having a stupendous campaign which is rumoured to be around 45 million euros – 50 million euros.

Views on the news:

It is of no surprise that Gabriel Jesus will be leaving us as Haaland and Alvarez threaten his position. The asking price of around 45 million euros seems suitable due to his attacking prowess and goal conversion rate.

No formal offer has been made from either of the sides till now but we can expect one coming before the start of the transfer window.

Chelsea has been handed a 170 million pounds budget boost with the new acquisition of Todd Boehly and the impending departure of Romelu Lukaku may force the blues to make a move for the Brazilian international who assures a much more significant outcome than that of any other striker in the market right now.

Real Madrid’s interest looks to be an ‘outside shot’ one. Gabriel Jesus – predominantly a centre forward can only find himself as a second-choice striker in Real’s squad with Karim Benzema expected to lead the lines. After enduring the failed transfer of Kylian Mbappe, Real is expected to be on the offensive to sign a forward but a centre-forward is not what they need right now.

Arsenal looks and ‘is’ the front-runner in the race to sign the forward, which I also think will be the best option for Jesus to get regular playing time.
