German star set to be one of players in and out of Etihad
IIkay Gundogan is set to leave Manchester City this summer after being told he is free to find a new club Daily Mail reports. The report adds that Club ‘Chiefs’ said he is free to explore other options as his current one enters the final year of his contract at city in July.
Gundogan is one of Pep’s key man, but he has fallen out favour by his recent injuries which limited his playing time. The report further says, “While his club insist any talks would happen in the summer, it is understood that it has been communicated to the player that an extension to his existing deal is unlikely.”
He fuelled speculation as he was seen on a private jet heading to Madrid, however those rumours were seemingly quashed following a brilliant personal announcement. Gundogan revealed he has married his model fiancée Sara Arfaoui in a private ceremony at a location in Europe.
With his future up in the air and likely to intensify in the off-season, a number of other transfers could be seen coming in and out of the Etihad.
On other news Manchester City are said to be interested in Brighton full back Marc Cucurella.
