Midfielders (Manchester City)

Fernandinho(DM)-7/10

The veteran was again provided with a full-fledged start in the centre of the park with a task to shield the backline. The Brazilian made some fine passes in the middle and was stable enough to keep City in control. For most of the game, the 36-year-old was in good shape and did not look rusty in any aspect of his game.

Kevin De Bruyne(CM)-8/10

The Portuguese took full responsibility for this midfield and had made sure that the team did not the presence of their Belgian superstar-Kevin De Bruyne. He was again the centre of the attention for the Sky Blues as he troubled the Norwich defenders till the end.

Ilkay Gundogan(CM)-8/10

The German was truly exceptional with his slick passes and had combined well with Silva in the midfield. The former Dortmund man is a crucial member of Guardiola’s side and is now likely to again start in the next couple of games.
