3) HARRY KANE

The Englishman is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world and is known for his prolific goal-scoring ability and link-up play which have paid him dividends over seasons. Kane enjoyed a breathtaking 2020 leading England to the Euro final. He scored 32 goals and 14 assists across 47 appearances for the Spurs and a move to City was looking imminent.

The English skipper was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City in the previous summer window. Tottenham though were stubborn and City just couldn’t find a way to break through their resistance as Spurs denied the defending champions of their three record-breaking bids to acquire the services of Harry Kane.

Fast forward six months, Kane is still donning the Tottenham jersey leading the side in their pursuit of Champions League football with a potential move to Manchester City in the background.

In a recent interview, the Spurs forward dropped a hint regarding a move to the Etihad with his intentions of winning the silverware in the future. Even the Skyblues seem to have reignited their interest in the 28-year-old with the reports emerging that Guardiola is keeping tabs on Harry Kane.

The Englishman seems to have found his mojo after Antonio Conte took charge of the Spurs with the 28-year-old scoring 3 goals in his previous 7 appearances across competitions. Harry Kane could be the perfect alternative for Erling Haaland given his goal-scoring ability, and proven track record on English soil.
