Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Manchester City but the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing the Serbian striker.
Vlahovic, 21, is tipped to exit Fiorentina next summer, with his contract set to expire in 2023. It is a fact that he will be sold next summer because he does not want to renew with his current club. With that said, the striker is said to be keen on UEFA Champions League football.
Outside of Spain, Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been linked with the Serbian.
It was expected that one of the interested clubs would make a bid for the 21-year-old this winter but so far, none of the interested parties have made an official approach, as confirmed by Fiorentina CEO Barone.
"“We’ve not received any bid from Juventus for Dusan. There are talks with English clubs but it should involve three parties, not two…”,“I spoke with Dusan last week: zero answers on his future. His agents, same”.Source: Twitter"
As per a report from Todofichajes, it is understood that the player will not leave Florence this month and any possible move will only be during the summer window.
It is said that the player does not want to leave midway through a season and would rather join a new team at the start of a full season.
The source also reports that Arsenal and Juventus are the current favorites to land the 21-year-old, whose market value is quoted at €70 million.
While the Fiorentina striker is said to have rejected the possibility of a move to Arsenal, it could finally go the way of the former Premier League champions, if they do manage to qualify for the UEFA Champions League title. Juve on the other hand, have made Vlahovic their priority.
Manchester City are also one of the favorites to sign the Serbian striker but with the Cityzens tipped to go all-out for Erling Haaland next summer, everything indicates that their interest in Vlahovic will be secondary, like Barcelona and Atleti. Atleti are not in the race for Haaland but are pursuing other targets.
It remains to be seen who manages to sign the 21-year-old as he is tipped to be one for the future.
