Manchester City Mainstay planning his future away from the Etihad

It hasn’t been long since Manchester City signed Jack Grealish for a whooping €100 million in the summer window. However, the Aston Villa winger is reportedly planning his future endorsements away from the Etihad with a potential homecoming to his boyhood club on the cards, MEN understands.
Expressing his interest in a switch to US Soccer, the Englishman has always been keen about his ambitions of moving to the States at some point in the future.
Regarding a future transfer to the MLS, Grealish stated
"“100 percent, I’ve always said that,”“I said it to my dad not long ago actually, when we were just speaking about anything. I’ve always loved the US and I think MLS is something that is really coming on now.”“One of my ex-teammates Carles Gill had a really good year there this year. I know he had really good season for the New England Revolution and he’s captain, and I played with him when he was at Villa.”“Seeing how much he’s enjoying himself over there, and stuff like that, definitely in the future I could see myself playing in the America.”"

It is safe to say that Grealish hasn’t had the best of starts to his career at the Etihad. With a G/A of 5 from 20 appearances for the Skyblues, the left-winger just couldn’t influence the play to his liking. A blend of injuries and dipping-form have kept him away from Guardiola’s starting XI for a considerable period.
The “€100M man” hasn’t been able to live with the burden of his price tag just yet. Having said that, Guardiola reiterated the fact that Grealish was signed for a long haul, providing him enough room for improvement.
The 26-year-old looked set to kick start his campaign with a solid header in front of the goal in a thumping 7-0 victory at the Etihad. But, was dropped from the side that travelled to St. James Park to face Newcastle United, as he was found wanting when Guardiola could see some ‘behavioural issues’ in the winger.
Manchester City have been top notch this season with 44 points from 18 league fixture, securing them a top spot. The likes of Liverpool and Chelsea are currently placed 2nd and 3rd with 41 and 38 points respectively.
Grealish is going to play a pivotal role, if City are looking for a double of Premier League and UEFA Champions League title. If the Cityzens do win their UCL, it will be their maiden European silverware.
Will Grealish succeed in Manchester City colors or will the Cityzens run out of patience with the Englishman?
Let us know.
