Manchester City enter race for highly-rated Bundesliga forward

According to reports (Fabrizio Romano via latest edition of his ‘Here We Go’ podcast), Manchester City is in pursuit of Bundesliga sensation, Dani Olmo as City scouts were spotted in Germany having a look at one of Spanish football’s promising talents.
The Cityzens seem to be keen on bolstering their attacking third, especially after their sole striker Ferran Torres is on the verge of a potential La-Liga switch to FC Barcelona.
Dani Olmo, 23, was one of the breakout stars for his National side in Euros 2020, with his scintillating performance in the semis almost booking a spot in the finals for Spain. Spain lost to Italy in the penalty shootouts, unfortunately.
Olmo was heavily linked with the Catalans in the previous summer window, with the Spanish Giants even launching a €70M bid in the final days, only to be denied by RB Leipzig owing to the time left for securing any replacements.
Having said that, the former La-Liga Champions are in absolute chaos at the moment and are in dire need of strikers with Memphis unable to live up to his expectations. Catalan boss, Xavi Hernandez seems to be an admirer of Ferran Torres, especially considering his advantage in 1v1s and finishing abilities.
With Barcelona and Manchester City reaching a total agreement over Ferran’s move for €45M, it is just a matter of time for the former Valencia man to don the Blaugrana outfit.
Olmo would be a perfect fit for Guardiola’s style of play especially with his versatility coming into play. City though has options ahead of them and is expected to go all out for BVB Dortmund Starlet, Erling Haaland with his release clause of €75M commencing from the 2022 summer window.
The race for the Norwegian Goal Machine is anticipated to go all the way down the wire with the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and FC Barcelona in contention.
So, where do you rate Dani Olmo on the preference order of Manchester City
