Manchester City keen on fetching Brazilian Striker Richarlison

Manchester City are in the hunt for a top-notch striker and it’s no secret that they will be eager for the winter window to make the much-needed ‘number 9’ addition to their ranks.
The 24-year-old has been dominating the attacking third for Everton ever since his arrival from fellow English club Watford in the 2018-19 season.
The Brazilian has been impressive this season, netting the ball twice and assisting once in just eight appearances in this edition of the Premier League.
However, the Skyblues are expected to launch hefty bids for both Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Erling Haaland (BVB Dortmund) in the winter window and have been linked with several big names who are out of a contract next year, as it stands.
Having said that, Manchester City have been playing their trademark brand of football even without a proper striker in their ranks, which emphasizes Guardiola’s style of play focusing on position, possession, and passing.
In the initial phases of this campaign, Ferran Torres was absolutely sublime in that position and was expected to make this .The season his breakthrough one. The Spanish striker though suffered a detrimental foot injury in the International break, which has still managed to keep him from the pitch, though he is said to be in the advanced stages of his recovery.
It is safe to say that, City are the side to face this season, after their commanding 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Paris Saint Germain on matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League at the Etihad.
Goals from Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus sealed the deal for the hosts in a one-sided affair in what was anticipated to be the match of the UCL weekend.
Richarlison may not be the class of Haaland and Kane but can certainly play second fiddle to the likes of Jack Grealish and Phil Foden on the attacking flanks.
