Raheem Sterling has been tipped to leave Manchester City in the coming winter window and his future looks very uncertain at the moment. The Englishman also admitted to being open to the idea of leaving the club in a bid to earn more minutes on the pitch. This is no longer a secret and the club, as well as the player, knows this.

Bernardo Silva, however, has been seeking a way out from City for the past two years and with the fine form that the Portuguese forward is currently in, City are not inclined to let him leave this winter, as per the football journalist, Ekrem Konur.

Silva has played a massive role for City in the season thus far and Pep Guardiola is said to be happy with his performances. Silva has been almost untouchable in the City lineup and has managed to displace the likes of Gundogan and Sterling from the XI.

The 27-year-old has been long tipped to move to Spain with the former La Liga champions in FC Barcelona said to be interested in signing him. The Blaugrana were linked with a move for the versatile attacker this past summer as well but with their finances, a deal was far from being finalized.

It is not clear if Silva’s stance of pursuing his career elsewhere has changed or not but one thing is clear nonetheless; City plan to reject all bids that could potentially arrive for the 27-year-old this January.

With Raheem Sterling finally finding some XI-worthy form against West Ham United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, his future still remains in the air. Silva could well follow in the footsteps of his English teammate who is tipped to leave this winter as well. Some interesting times lie ahead for the Cityzens but what do you see could potentially happen when it comes to Bernardo Silva?

Let us know.
