Manchester City aim to bolster their attack ahead of the next season

Before the commencement of the new season in August, Manchester City are expected to make few changes in their squad.

The Premier League holders have already signed 17-year-old Kayky from Fluminese and are interested in adding new members to their roster this summer.

In terms of departure, the Cityzens parted ways with two star members as Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia signed for Barcelona for the upcoming season.

There have been speculations that have pointed out that the likes of  Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez could also join Camp Nou this summer

The Sky Blues would be hoping to keep the duo back for the next season as they play a vital role in the final third.

However,the club also has address the issue of finding a proper striker.The team has allegedly shown interest on some of the big names of Europe.

The likes of Erling Haaland,Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku have all been linked with a move to Etihad this summer.

The actual question is will the Cityzens finally land a proper no.9 this summer.I think the club has a good chance of landing a top striker.The reason i believe is that this City squad has a proper slot left upfront.

The no.9 position still remains a hug mystery for the Sky Blues.Hence let us take a look at the actual candidates who can secure a move to Manchester City in the ongoing summer window.

#Erling Haaland-Borussia Dortmund

The Norwegian forward was  the highest goalscorer for Dortmund last season.Most importantly,the former RB Salzburg striker played a vital role in the club’s fourth place finish.He had mammoth goalscoring figures in the Bundesliga as the attacker scored 27 goals in 28 league appearances.

His exceptional performances upfront have now gathered interest from top sides in Europe.Chelsea,Manchester United and Real Madrid are reportedly interested to sign the youngster as they look to add more steel to their frontline this summer.

However,latest reports suggest that the Blues have an upper hand in the Haaland transfer.The Champions League winners are inching closer to a permanent deal and hence the 20-year-old striker may well be out of Manchester City’s reach in the current circumstances.

#Harry Kane-Tottenham Hotspur

The Spurs forward has been one of the consistent strikers in the Premeir League.Over the years,the Englishman has scored some vital goals for the North London based club and hence has become one of the most important members in the first-team.

Last season,the 28 year old attacker scored 23 goals in the league campaign and also was the leading goalscorer in the Championship.Unfortunately,his goalscoring exploits did not help his side in securing Champions League football.In the upcoming season,the forward will now have to play a much inferior competition in the form of Europa Conference League.

However,City fans will be happy to know that the English international is reportedly open to moving to new club.Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has apparently valued the striker at 150 million pounds.This giant quoted sum might turn out to be big problem for lot of clubs including Mnachester City.Let me remind you that the Sky Blues have never spent over 100 million for a player.

It will be a interesting to see whether Pep Guardiola decides to break the bank for Kane.The Spaniard is desperate for Champions League glory and hence i think he might secure the services of the Spurs no.10.
