Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero signed off his Premier League career in the most poetic of fashions, creating history by scoring twice in the 5-0 demolition of Everton after he came on as a substitute at the Etihad.

Aguero came on after the 60th minute mark and struck an amazing brace in the space of five minutes – first toe-poking his way through the Everton defense and slotting the ball past Jordan Pickford and then heading in a fine goal from Fernandinho’s pin-point cross – and in doing so, became, Manchester City’s most decorated player with a host of records during his 10-year-tenure.

He officially was crowned the Premier League’s greatest ever goal scorer for a single club with 184 strikes in 275 appearances – overtaking Wayne Rooney’s 183 goals in 393 appearances.

The Argentina striker is also second on the list for the best goal-ratio in the competition’s history of 0.67 – just marginally behind a joint record of 0.68 of Thierry Henry & still active Harry Kane, who have 175 & 166 goals in 275 & 245 appearances respectively.

However, he does better than both of them with the best ever goal-per-minute ratio of any player in the history of the Premier League, 108 – an unprecedented 14 minutes lesser than Henry & Kane, who both sit with 122.

Aguero also holds the record for the most hattricks in the Premier League, with 12 – one better than Alan Shearer.

Alongside Dmitar Berbatov, Jermain Defoe, Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole, Aguero holds the record for the most number of goals (5) in a single Premier League match. Nevertheless, he does better the four of them for having scored 5 goals in just 66 minutes, as opposed to their tally of as many goals in 90 minutes.

The marksman has seen himself score 20+ goals for 5 consecutive seasons with the club – the most consecutive goalscoring seasons by any player in the competition’s history.

Overall, Aguero has 260 goals in 389 appearances for City over the span of ten glory-filled years.

The 32-year-old Argentine is the most decorated player in City’s history – winning 15 major trophies, and a possible sixteenth enroute as the club take on Chelsea in the upcoming Champions League final showdown.

Here is the list of all his trophies won as a Cityzen:
