The breakaway concept of the European Super League has taken the footballing world by storm and has received some heavy backlash for the same. The “top clubs” involved in the formation of the league are all set to face some heavy and strict sanctions from the UEFA as the breakaway concept has done nothing but to go against the concept of ‘Equal Game’, something that is highly disappointing.
CBS Soccer understands that Jesper Moller, Danish FA chairman and UEFA executive expects UEFA to kick Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid out of the ongoing UEFA Champions League campaign, effectively leaving only Paris Saint-Germain out of the four teams in the competition. It is still unclear if PSG will be handed the title if Manchester City, Real Madrid and Chelsea do get kicked out.
UEFA has already warned the clubs involved in this project about the possible ramifications to be faced for going through with this project.
European Super League has got Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan are the confirmed founding members as of now. It is understood that invitations to PSG, Bayern and Borussia Dortmund have also been sent out but of no avail.
Bayern Munich, Dortmund, and PSG have received much praise and admiration from many corners of the footballing world for their decision to not be a part of the project.

Football as we know is going to change for the worse if the proposed European Super League goes through as per plans. Having said that, the power lies with the players and the coaches to side with the fans on this subject.
The UEFA however, are right in their own way to impose these sanctions on thhe founding clubs of the ESL.
Only time will tell the fate of the elite clubs, clubs that have dominated football for as long as we can remember.
