Raheem Sterling

I can only assume Sterling must have nudes of Pep Guardiola as there is no other explanation why he keeps starting when his performances are so poor. Keeps getting in the right positions and choosing the wrong options. This is like a return to pre Guardiola Sterling. I would send him on holiday for a month as he has played a lot of football and looks jaded.

Sergio Aguero

A couple of chances and the odd disallowed goal apart, this was a laboured performance by Aguero who was too often marooned at great distance from the midfield. No one linked up the play, reducing the attacking chances which were created and leaving Aguero to snatch at what came his way.

Riyad Mahrez

My favourite moment was his tracking back in the first 10 minutes and making a tackle, but it was downhill from there. Too many half hearted challenges afterwards and misplaced passes. His link up did not work and too much was wasted. His worst performance this season.
