Ilkay Gundogan

Sat in the defensive midfielder slot, this was a comfortable display. He ran the show from deep, rotating the ball continually. What looks slow in the Premier League against fast pressing, looks ok against lower League opposition. He took his penalty well and never looked like missing.

David Silva

Every day that passes marks a day closer to his eventual exit in the Summer, so opportunities like this should not be missed by fans. He was the spark in our display, looking for the pass all the time. Let down by his legs on a couple of occasions where the difference between thought and actions, saw the moment slip away.

Phil Foden

Neat and tidy in possession and looked like our best attacking threat but deployed slightly out of position to fit him in. He spent some time out on the left when I think he is most dangerous in the middle. Snatched at a couple of chances. Needs more games.
