Claudio Bravo

Kept a clean sheet, which is something Ederson has not managed in about 15 games. Was pressed high by United and was repeatedly played into difficulty when he was passed the ball under pressure, accordingly he changed his approach and kicked long, but this often went astray.

Kyle Walker

There was a customary Walker brain fart on display when he let runners past him but came into the match as it went on. His running caused them trouble throughout and he seemed to appreciate the respect from their fans.

Player Rating 7

Fernandinho

Although his pace is fading his vision alliws him to mostly anticipate problems early and to reposition himself. Some good covering of the full backs today and even a couole of forward runs which seemed to catch them out!

Player Rating 7

Eric Garcia

A solid performance. Passed the ball well. Tackled and closed down. Quick on his feet. Our best defender on the day. Surely he has done enough to earn a start against Everton?

Player Rating 8

Oleks Zinchenko

Not sure what happened for much of the game today. Poor defensively. Not strong enough on the challenge or when receiving the ball. Offered little going forwards, as he seemed to bring every attack to a dead stop.
