The Attack
Riyad Mahrez
Not a vintage Mahrez performance on show today as his shooting was off target and he looked out of sorts. This was a game where surely we could have expected him to turn in a performance but it was not to be his day today.

Raheem Sterling
His movement at times was a joy to behold as he casually split the defence repeatedly and could have had a hat trick on another day. Today he had to make do with just the two goals, both of which became simple tap ins thanks to his running and movement. Ordinarily the two goals would have secured Man of the match but in my view, other players probably deserved the accolade more.

Bernardo Silva
I am not really sure what has happened to Bernardo, as he plays like the spring in his step has gone. He looks unhappy on the pitch and what that is about I am not sure. Consequently this was another lacklustre performance where he made little impact with either his passing or his movement. Last year no one could take the ball off him, this year he does not seem to want it.
