Attack
Bernardo Silva (RW): Looked technically very good throughout, although his impact was limited to short bursts. The Portuguese managed City’s only goal of the game, and walks away as the Blues’ Man of the Match in my books. (7.5)

Sergio Agüero (ST): His Anfield curse continued as he tried to create something throughout the match, but ultimately lacked the finishing touch required to get his side back into the game. (5)
Raheem Sterling (LW): Showed real drive and creativity against his former club, although he couldn’t provide the end product City fans would have hoped for. He gave Trent Alexander-Arnold real trouble down his side in the second half as well. (6.5)
