Rodri

One of the best compliments you can give Rodri is he looks as though he has been playing in our side forever. He reads the game very well and many times you actually have to avoid the ball and instead watch Rodri just to understand what he is doing. Rodri always seems to appear not where the ball was – but where it is next. That is some considerable skill as a defensive midfielder and accounts for why his pace is not always important. His height and rangy stance makes him an added benefit to our side who mostly seem so much smaller than any team we face.

David Silva

Silva may well be in the Autumn of his Manchester City career but he is showing what ability he really has. Against Brighton he operated in the tightest of spaces and still found the feet of his colleagues with passes. He worked tirelessly until his energy levels began to wane and he was withdrawn. Two assists on the pitch today to really power City towards their victory.

Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne is back, like a quarterback spraying passes and controlling the games. Without a doubt the most complete midfielder in the Premier League and clearly getting stronger and more assured with each passing game. Today he had a goal and an assist to keep City on their path and we all think there is much more to come in the months ahead. This year we will hopefully have De Bruyne in this form as we go throughout the whole season and he will have the chance to claim the plaudits he deserves.
