By David Crook
Man City Square reviews the Manchester City match against Burton Albion and rates the player performances and selects a Man of the Match.
Aro Muric
There was very little for Muric to do during this game. No opportunities to make a save or even show off his distribution skills. Nevertheless he was an imposing presence in the nets.
Player Rating 7
Kyle Walker
Better performance again which showed him in control. He even scored a well taken goal, turning in a cross with his right foot at close range.

Nicolas Otamendi
Solid and imposing. He snuffed out most of the chances which came through and read the game well.
Player Rating 8
Eric Garcia
Another eye catching performance from the 18 year old on his birthday! He reads the game well which makes up for his lack of stature and was not frightened to make key challenges and give away tactical fouls.
Player Rating 9
Oleks Zinchenko
Little defending required which played to his strengths. Scored a wonder goal!
Player Rating 9
Ilkay Gundogan
Lower league teams tend to struggle with his range of passing, especially a trademark lofted pass which resulted in at least one of the goals.
Player Rating 9
David Silva
Returning to full speed but there were still some non Silva like moments of misplaced passes.
Player Rating 8
Kevin De Bruyne
Getting back to speed but did tire. The vision is there but the execution just needs some tweaking.
Player Rating 7
Leroy Sane
Excellent and dangerous throughout. Few more menacing players in world football at the moment.
Player Rating 9
Gabriel Jesus
Scored 4 but could have easily had 6! Yet this was the best performance in a while and it was good to see that smile back on his face again.
Player Rating 10
Riyad Mahrez
Slightly frustrating to watch. Does not work as hard as Sane. Does not tackle or track back always. Looked better on the left than the right wing.
Player Rating 7
Substitutes
Phil Foden
Two games two goals. Does not look out of place in our brilliant side which is high praise indeed.
Player Rating 8
Danilo
Not on the pitch long enough to make much impact.
Player Rating 7
Bernardo Silva
Not on the pitch long enough to make much impact.
Player Rating 7
Man City Square Man of the Match
After 4 goals this was the game for Jesus to reassert himself and to place some pressure again on Aguero for a starting spot against Wolves.
