Manchester City Player Ratings

Aro Muric

Confident and accomplished performance from a 19 year old goalkeeper who is clearly learning from and copying Ederson. Should be our 2nd choice keeper from this point.

Rating 8

Zinchenko

Playing on the left again and there were some good moments of overlapping runs with Sane. He is confident in possession and looks more accomplished than last year. Given he can play in a number of different positions I hope he stays with the Club.

More from Game Review

Kompany

What he lacks in pace he  makes up with game knowledge. His reading of the game is excellent. Marshalled the defence well and he probably gets an assist for the Diaz goal.

Rating 7

John Stones

Not called upon to do very much but concentrated hard throughout to ensure any danger was dealt with. He has been a consistent part of a defence which has now kept clean sheets for 12 hours of play,

Rating 7

Danilo

Good performance by Danilo who looked eager to play well. He linked well with Diaz and covered his defensive line. This was perhaps the best he has looked since joining. Solid at the back and a consistent attacking presence, let down only by his final ball.

Rating 7

Fabian Delph

Sat deep in the Fernandinho role and did well.If anything he floated left too much, leaving gaps in the centre. Did a job for us today and its possible we could see more of him in this position in the coming months.

Rating 7

Kevin De Bruyne

Beginning to get back to game speed. He fizzed in several passes and closed down Fulham at every opportunity. De Bruyne is nearly back and we have to hope his injury is nothing serious.

Rating 8

Phil Foden

Unlucky not to add to his goal tally. Foden is am amazing young talent, with great ball control, poise and vision. He looks at home in our team and I suspect he will be a key part of our squad for a number of years to come.

Rating 8

Leroy Sane

Sane buzzed around the wings, looking dangerous and menacing with the ball. Without the ball he exploited space and created opportunities for others. Unlucky not to have a goal.

Rating 8

Gabriel Jesus

The best performance from Jesus in a while, as he was industrious and skilful. Its a whiles since he dribbled through massed ranks of defenders.

Rating 8

Brahim Diaz

A good performance from Diaz who looked as pleased to score as the fans who chanted his name. In the right place at the right time but took his chances well.

Rating 8

Substitutes

Riyad Mahrez

Replaced Diaz in the 77th minute but little opportunity to shine in a game which had been alfready put to bed.

Player Rating 6

Claudio Gomes

Debut for the classy Frenchman. Looked comfortable in the role.

Player Rating 6

ManCitySquare Man of The Match

Brahim Diaz, who with 2 goals managed to secure the win. Hopefully Diaz will sign an extension with Manchester City and we can really watch this exciting player develop.
