Avid Manchester City fans all love to travel and they will know which destination they will be heading to when the Champions League group stage draw is made today.

Ended by Liverpool last year, the club will be there or thereabouts this season. Real Madrid will be weaker but Juventus, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint Germain will have their eyes on Ol’ Big Ears trophy after they all strengthened in the off-season. Our domestic challengers will have a struggle this year around, as Liverpool enter the Pot 3 stage, potentially having a group of death.

The Champions League trophy is one City fans, players and coaching staff crave the most, as it will certainly be the pinnacle under Sheikh Mansour’s ownership in Manchester and likely to beat the club’s record-breaking Premier League season last year.

As Premier League champions, Pep Guardiola’s men will enter in Pot One, avoiding the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and Juventus.

The draw is to be made at 18:00 today in Monaco, with all eyes, fixed on who we will end up with next after visiting Naples, Rotterdam and Kharkiv last year.

We will give you the run through of our potential opponents and predict an easy passage or possible group of death for Manchester City.
