“We are close, we are so close.” The final words of Pep Guardiola in the latest video regarding Manchester City.

That video shows the preview for the All or Nothing documentary series regarding the Premier League champions.

It was confirmed back in 2017 that the cameras will be following around the Manchester City team and now it has been confirmed that the documentary series will show the Cityzens through their record-breaking season.

The eight-part series will be shown on Amazon Prime from 17 August and will be available to watch, stream or download for Amazon Prime members in over 200 countries and territories.

The cameras have followed the squad throughout the season and will bring the viewer unprecedented access through the downs and lows of the 2017/18 season.

The series will be narrated by Sir Ben Kingsley and the famous actor will take you through the highlights that the camera catches. It won’t be all highs though as there are a number of lows already featuring in the preview.

In the promo, it features a tense team talk, the aftermath of Fabian Delph’s red card against Wigan and all the fun and games that the squad get up to together. A chance to live those moments again with your heroes.

The series will likely be of the same format as the Netflix documentary depicting Juventus’ previous season, which is fantastic viewing for any fan of football.

Although made by a different production team, we are likely to see a similar insight into the world of the nation’s greatest football team.

The All of Nothing series has previously given us an insight into the world of professional sport, covering NFL teams Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, Michigan Wolverines and Dallas Cowboys. It has also ventured from the American football scene by covering the New Zealand Rugby team.

I’m sure many City fans are waiting with anticipation to see the same level of coverage as many people watched in the previous All or Nothing series.
