Oleksandr Zinchenko: Touted as a makeweight in the Jorginho deal, the promising midfielder was used sparingly by the manager last season and often filled in as left-back when Fabian Delph and Benjamin Mendy were unavailable for selection.
Dubbed ‘mini Kevin’ by his teammates, due to his image likeness to Kevin De Bruyne, he has only featured 14 times and is not considered as a first team regular.
The midfielder arrived as a prospect for the future when he joined Manchester City from the Russian side, Ufa. Borrusia Dortmund and a number of other European clubs were reportedly monitoring him, however Zinchencko chose the Cityzens for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £1.7million.
Immediately loaned to PSV Eindhoven, the Ukrainian international failed to impress in his 13 appearances for the Dutch side. When returning, Pep Guardiola wanted to see more of the youngster in training and ruled out any loan move for the utility player.
His technical skills have attracted many potential new clubs in the last 12 months, with new Napoli boss reportedly ‘convinced’ the Ukrainian can fit his style of play and be a welcome member to his squad.
Most likely destination to leave for: Napoli or Girona
