Group B:

In Russia, Group B will consist of Portugal, Spain, Morocco and Iran. Of course the two Silva’s were chosen to represent Portugal and Spain while I added Ireland and Italy in place of Morocco and Iran.

Richard Dunne came in to represent Ireland while Mario Balotelli comes in for Italy. Again votes came in, along with questions. It is fair to say that I just gave four names with no explanation, other than ‘pick your favorite’.

It was not surprising that David Silva ran away with the votes. Certainly, over the period he’s been here, we’ve seen very few, if any, better. Surprisingly neither Bernardo nor Richard Dunne got any votes. That left the five voting for Balotelli see the Italian progress to the next round.
