Expectations:

Of course it was a great season but there is still that disappointment of Champions League. But, although the season left the Chairman disappointed, he is also optimistic.

Of course there needs to be purchases made to strengthen the squad. Lessons have been learned from previous years though, and signings will be made to improve the current squad. The chairman confirmed what Pep had already said, only one or two signings need be made.

It is clear the club are happy with the squad they have right now. It is a young side, and could go on to dominate for a few seasons to come. Right now, what we need is quality to come in to push the current squad out of complacency.

The expectation is that the team will improve under Pep Guardiola. He will be relentless, both in his preperation and expectation of the squad. I personally cannot wait to see what the summer brings.
